digital minimalism, gentleness and the truth about stress

Weekend Wisdom: Rest before pushing through. Give yourself a break. You are doing so much better than you think.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to try playing tennis again. It’s been more than 15 years since I played. I was nervous and I’m so glad I did it anyway. I am having a blast! Other little joys in my life lately: fresh flowers, reading outside, working on a new project (more soon-ish), strawberry-arugula salad, morning coffee (of course) and getting in bed before 9pm. And then remembering that I get to experience these little joys again and again … well that is what makes an ordinary life so extraordinary.
